This is how our celebration started. It's Dallin's and Lizzy's favorite activity. Lizzy likes the water and Dallin likes to see how many letters he can fit on her head. She strangely resembles Marvin the Martian.

Dallin played football with some guys from the ward. I'm sure he had fun. He came home muddy and is very sore. (He's the one trying to intercept in the red shirt.)

Lizzy watching her Dad.

Dallin, dutifully waving to his daughter.

After four days of cooking -- the first Thanksgiving dinner I've made myself (Dallin did help a little). The turkey was pretty.

Lizzy was ready to eat.

And enjoying.

As we were cleaning up, Lizzy decided to help by emptying the cupboard. At least it kept her busy.

The helpful husband.

And bowling. In my life, Thanksgiving isn't complete without bowling. We really did terrible, but looked good doing it.

And Lizzy loved all the balls.
P.S. We are fully aware of our obsession with taking pictures of Lizzy. We are fully aware of the situation and it cannot be helped. We appreciate your cooperation.
