Quick Catch Up

Well we are pretty boring people and don't have that much going on, but I wanted to do a quick post because our kids are too freaking cute not to show off. (They might be really, really cute, but that doesn't mean I don't want to send them to Time Out for days at a time)

Lizzy and June are both growing up so fast.

Lizzy took a local dance class and had a recital. Considering she never payed attention during the classes, she did an amazing job in the recital.

Lizzy loves to dress up and June likes to follow.

June loves the camera. This is her "cheese" smile.

We were able to take a family trip to Disneyland. It was fantastic, as always. We were not sure how Lizzy was going to feel about it after the first day, we kind of threw her right into the deep end. The first ride we did was Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters which she did not like because she thought the bad guys were shooting back. The rest of the day included Splash Mountain, where Lizzy sat in the front seat. The look on her face going down the big hill was of utter terror. Funny to us but not to her. We also went on The Haunted Mansion.

The above picture of her next to Minnie Mouse is the first and only character she went up to. She would not go within 30 feet of anyone else. By the end of the first day we were not sure she would want to go back.

But by the end of the third day, we had her in a Rapunzel dress and she had a stuffed Pascal, and she was bouncing off the walls happy. Now she can't stop talking about it and tells everyone she meets.

When we were first driving to Disneyland we were pointing out to Lizzy where it was, when June piped up and said, "Di-ney-lan". It was pretty funny to hear out of her little mouth especially since it was unprompted.
June had a great time and loved almost every minute of being there.

The new Cars Land is fun, but who would have guessed otherwise.

Lizzy keeps asking when we are going again and gets very sad when we have to tell her not for a few years.

In February, Lizzy had her tonsils and adenoids removed. She was very brave and loved eating the Popsicles and ice cream. She was back to her self within a day or two, It is still very weird to walk close to her room and not her snoring anymore.

The other night Lizzy sang in the Ward Primary talent show. She loves to sing, and is getting June into singing a little. In the past two weeks June has started singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star", "The Alphabet Song", and "Zippity Do Da" all without us teaching them to her -- and she also knows almost every word.

Well there is a little bit of what we are up to. Don't expect to get Blog updates often, unless you call and ask us specifically for news or pictures, which we are more then happy to give. We hope you enjoy.
