guess who turned one!

(yes, that's a happy face.)
we had an excellent little party filled with family and cake (before dinner) and gifts.
june was a little overwhelmed by all the generous gift giving, but eventually got the hang of it.
her favorite, i am happy to brag, was the gift dallin and i gave to her. the question of what to give a one-year-old was not an easy one for me. but after much debate, and a couple return trips to the toy store, we settle on a little red wagon.
my intelligent little girl quickly discovered the joy of being pulled in the little red wagon.
and even just sitting in the little red wagon.
(she has already figured out how to climb in and out by herself.
now if only she could work out how to make it move while inside.)
and of course the cake.
